Any tips on researching for/writing a good Cover Letter for the company you're applying to?

I'm currently looking for a new job and while making the CV itself is relatively easy for me to do, writing a cover letter for each company I'm applying to is a bit more difficult for me. I have the overall body of the letter sorted out but I then find myself at a loss for words when it comes to writing a small paragraph to show how much I know of the company, what they do, how they function etc.

Trying to think of something convincing to write for multiple companies per job-hunt session is quite taxing after a while and I never feel like I'm doing it well. I've used ChatGPT a few times but I don't want to have to rely on it for everything.

Job-hunting is so daunting and stressful, particularly with making the cover letter and trying to decode what the job titles even mean and what the position even involves.
