Immigrant parents bmt graduation

As my ship date approaches I’m finding the possibilities of having my immigrant parents come to my graduation becoming very dim.

I know there’s a lot of posts on here with advice but it’s contradicting. My parents don’t have any criminal record with the police per se, have their dl, passport from their country, and “clean” record. I’m currently in the process of doing Parole in Place for them so when I graduate bmt they will probably have a work permit by then. I cannot petition for their residency just yet I’m not 21.

If you guys could give me advice on the advice I’ve seen,

• Have a DoD Id holder sponser them to come on base

• “Their passport is enough for them to enter”

• Have them fill out a Foreign Vistor Acess Request form.
