Other villagers using another villager’s catchphrases?

I just noticed today that the custom catchphrase i gave to aurora was being used by another villager that i havent even spoken to about catchphrases before. I give villagers a word that i think suits their own personality so it was weird to see this happen. Is this a normal thing and can i fix it somehow?
