Managing GAD w/o meds
Does anyone have any tips on what they do to manage anxiety without meds? Background: SSRIs don’t work - the symptoms are worse than the anxiety. Just tried SNRIs (cymbalta) and didn’t sleep for seven days. I’m off it now but had an anxiety producing incident yesterday and I lost it… raging, crying, all over the place. Scared me, scared my family. They chalked it up to withdrawal. It sucked. I will do genome testing before trying anymore meds. The trial and error, throwing a dart, process of meds is not for me. Anyway, in the meantime I need to do something so I don’t repeat yesterday where I traumatized myself and my family. Just when you think you’re doing good….BAM… crazy, out-of-control feelings are right there.
