Need Help with Cycling Process— First Time Ever!

This is my results after a week of cycling, and I have a couple concerns.

I started this tank on January 31st and here’s what I did on Day 1: - Dosed with the proper amount of Dr. Tim’s Ammonia - Put in established filter media from local fish store - Added a small dose of Seachem Stability (I also used Prime on the water of course)

24 hours after this: - Ammonia was at 4.0ppm - Nitrites were at 2.0ppm - pH 7 - I did not test for nitrates

The thing is, I believe I made two grave mistakes: 1. Doing two water changes (~20% of the water was removed and replaced) 2. Removing the established filter media (I was just very confused on how to use it tbh)

Now my levels are weird. My ammonia has been stuck at 0.5 for the past four days while my nitrite gradually went down to 0ppm. I still have no nitrates showing up, and it seems my pH wants to stay at 6.6 for some reason.

What do I do? Do I just need to wait it out and keep doing my Stability as normal? Do I need to dose more ammonia? Is there something I’m not understanding? Please help :-(
