Formerly Chairman, of DRDO (2018-2022), Scientific Adviser to Raksha Mantri and Chairman Governing Body Aeronautical Development Agency, Dr. Reddy spearheaded path-breaking in the area of missile systems, UAV defence, Radar and Avionics technology.
Under his leadership, India executed the Mission Shakti-the first-ever anti-satellite (ASAT) missile test and set up itself as an elite class space power with world rankings.
