Perfect Cinnamon Roll Recipe?

I want to make cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning (thinking way ahead here), but I don’t want to land on the wrong cinnamon roll recipe. I’m my experience with cinnamon rolls, they can be hit or miss due to many factors. The factors I’m trying to avoid are: stale-ish/dense dough, overwhelming (or underwhelming) cinnamon, and not-quality icing.

I’m looking for cinnamon rolls that are truly ooey-gooey, soft and squishy. I genuinely think Cinnabon makes pretty good cinnamon rolls for the most part, especially their “just the middle” ones.

Anyone have any cinnamon roll recipes that they swear by?
