Why is Mint Condition Dran Sword Better in Competitive?

I know Mint Condition Dran Sword is better than a battled/older Dran sword. It got me curious as to the actual reasons why, if anyone can answer? Thank you for all the feedback still btw! Dran sword is def one of my mains in my deck so I’m tryna make the best possible version.
