KL driving

Drove a car in KL on the way to TRx. Whoever did the city planning for KL should be shot. The roads are never to the point. It’s just one big maze. People parking like their grandfather road on the site. Hawkers putting up stalls on the road side (thus making pedestrian walkways non existence). And did I mention there is too many cars in KL?

Here is what I can recommend (based on living in Australia) (1) Ban cars from entering the CBD in KL. Cars, motorcycles a big no. Public buses can enter but purely for public usage (2) All road side food vendors are banned too. You want to sell food? Sell it at markets or food eateries. No more ‘park your car at the roadside and sell’. Anything blocking the pedestrian path must be cleared (3) Heavy taxation on cars and motorcycles. In fact, get rid of old cars and make public transport the way to go (4) Proper town planning. No more development of malls or housing near the city. All land near the city be dedicated a green area.
