And now… for an affordable subwoofer

I like my new setup with the Cambridge AXR100D driving the Elac Uni-Fi B5’s, and the cable problem I posted earlier about is gone. Hurrah!

Now, it’s time for the finishing touch: adding a subwoofer. I just listened to the B&W ASW608 and liked its compact size and its musicality. But at $500, there could be better alternatives.

It’s good to know that there aren’t (believe me, I checked) fun or unique second hand offerings around me online, and the RSL Speedwoofer everyone keeps on raving about is hard/ much more expensive to get in the Netherlands.

Are there +- $500 subwoofers that I should also consider?
