Help choosing my first

Hi folks! New to the sub and new to Carhartt as well. For years I’ve worn a military M65 field jacket with liner and it does an awesome job at keeping me warm and is very durable and useful.

I am however getting sick of looking like G.I. Joe so I was thinking about branching out.

I’ve got it narrowed down to two different models, both Yukon Extremes because I mainly want to stay warm walking dogs in upstate NY in the winter. The Full Swing style #104460 which I like the looks of better since there’s no attached hood. I understand some people don’t like the way it feels under the arms while others have sizing issues. It’s discontinued but Amazon still sells it.

The other model is the Yukon Active Jac-lose fit style #104458. Does anyone have experience with these two? Any strong opinions or advice on which to pick? I don’t think any place has them to try on unfortunately.
