Neighbour does not take care of their animals, and I have over the last 6 months seem to have become their cats new owner.
I don't really know where to start. I'm a big animal guy but when I got a new job I had to give my dog up to my mum because my hours were unsociable. However I hate how my neighbours treat their cats, they are ALWAYS outside in the cold, skinny, and overtime I have befriended this really fluffy guy.
He wants to be inside my house, and he really seems to like me. One time he was here for a week and the neighbours said they didn't notice he was gone. They also went on Holiday one time and just did nothing for the cat. Unfortunately we both rent from the same landlord so I don't really want to call RSPCA or anything but I do quite enjoy taking care of this kitty.
Morally am I doing anything wrong? I'm not stealing it I just like feeding it and looking after it. I miss my dog and this fluffy guy is so nice and he does the biscuit thing and purrs. I'm just a bit cautious as I'm trying to see the good in the neighbours and maybe he is an outside cat, but its been so cold recently I cant bear to see him outside any longer.
Any advice on new somewhat fostering of the kitty is greatly appreciated. I do not know his name, I just call him fluffy.
