How to deal with wanting to make an impossible cosplay?
I've been making cosplay outfits for... about 20 years now. I generally really love making props and things like that. I've made a bustersword, staves, a set of wings, a skeletal suit (for ainz ooal gown) and many many more things over the years. But recently i've been wanting to get more into making armors that i never really did.
I'm just afraid i set myself an impossible goal beyond my capabilities.
I'm currently obsessed with wanting to make Artorias of the Abyss his outfit, which truthfully isnt that difficult yet (the detailwork is going to be a pain though).
While making it, i realized that i wanted to make another outfit that really meant a lot to me as an old-school rpg player, namely the outfit of Garland from Final Fantasy 1. Most precisely the incredibly fine detailed suit that Stranger of Paradise introduced.
I am just at a loss. I dont know where to even begin conceptualizing it. I'm pretty decent with foam work and such, but this is on a whole diffirent scale and level, and i just cant get over wanting to make it regardless.
I could use some tips for undertaking this or where to start. Thanks.
