Have you noticed an uptick of modded invaders?

I recently started a new game again, and it seems like there's way more cheaters this play through then usual, people who obviously messed with the game so they don't take damage and so their weapons can attack you from stupid far away without actually hitting you. It's pretty frustrating, I really like the pvp aspect of the game and it kinda makes me want to stop playing when every third invader is a loser who gets off on trying and ruin the game.
