Recurring dream: lionesses

I have this dream 2-3 times/year. I am walking through a place with woods & fields, & I suddenly know somehow that there are lionesses around, though I haven’t seen them yet. I also somehow know that as soon as I become aware of them, they will start to hunt me. Then that very thing happens. I am terrified. Then it’s almost like I cast a spell around myself, & as long as I believe it will work, the lionesses won’t kill me. It always works, but it feels tenuous the entire time, and it’s terrifying.
