How to have fun with the game?

Hey I play the game since the arctic summer event. And I think the game is quite boring. The story was fine I guess (I’m at section 5 of lb 7), but the gameplay is very grindy and boring. Thats why I also quit the game a few times.

I pretty much just spam my berserker ibukis np, after using some skills from her, caster astoria, lady avalon and xu-fu, to buff her. And building up new characters is exhausting and not really necessary.

Is there a way to have fun, or is this game just not for me?

Edit: thanks for the replies. I probably handle it like I do now, meaning that I just play the game for a few minutes 2-3x times a week. But will probably quit at some point.
