Ok I reeeally don't get it...

What is it with this sub and their justification for Troy and love for season 3

I mean, ok I get part of it. He's a sociopath and makes for an interesting character, but that's not enough. People say season 3 is the best season but in my opinion it was so frustrating, specifically because of Troy. Based on the new morality in the show caused by the apocalypse, he should have been killed waaay sooner than he was. The characters motivations are so inconsistent (or just dumb) it drove me insane.

I don't have a problem with people liking Troy, but I guess I don't understand the hard-on for season 3 and the hate for season 4 (only halfway through 4 though so maybe it gets worse) when the character's are so dumb in season 3 regarding their stance on Troy. Infuriating. I also hear a lot about the writing in 4 and 5 being terrible, but so far the only difference between 3 and 4 are that the characters make more sense in 4 (to me at least I guess)

EDIT: Also, everyone always says season 4 is when it went downhill, but never actually provides any examples, they just say "its bad."
