Upgrading ps4 version to ps5

So I bought the disc version of Forbidden West for my ps4 and then we decided to get a ps5 a month later. I’ve seen you get a free upgrade but I have a digital ps5 console. Will I be able to get the free upgrade or no since I bought the disc one for ps4?
