bastards? tried to keep the title a lil ambiguous in case there are still new viewers in the sub.

during S01E07, when viserys is questioning aemond on who told him such, aemond and alicent have rather a stare down. alicent looks nervous, like she's worried her son is about to out her. like she's the one who told him so.

then, aemond seems to decide to protect his mother, and says it was aegon.

aegon is shocked and says "me?" like he can't believe he's being accused of something he never actually did.

whilst aegon concedes they certainly fit the bill (they look like bastards because they're missing the targ hair) and that 'everyone knows', he doesn't actually admit to anything, it's just deflection. it's like he's also unwilling to throw his mother under the bus, and before the camera pans fully to aegon, alicent lets out a little sigh of relief (36:30).
