I cried after my first treatment (in front of the nurse)

heyyy so basically title says it all. I signed up for laser hair removal on my face/neck.

It definitely hurt more than I expected, but I made it through it by gritting my teeth and clenching my fists. Once it was finished, the nurse went to go get the aloe to put on my face, and when she came back I just started trembling for some reason? I started shivering and my teeth started chattering and she noticed this and asked me if I was cold and I just kind of nodded. Once the aloe was on, my eyes started watering a tiny bit but when I sat up, the waterworks just broke and I started bawling my eyes out. The nurse seemed very confused but asked if I was okay but I couldn't even respond. Finally after several minutes I asked if they had a bathroom and I went in there and kept crying . I really don't know what triggered it, I don't *think* it was the pain but I guess it could have been?

Someone please tell me I'm not the only one that has cried after laser, I'm really embarrassed and I'm considering doing my next appointment at a different location 🥲
