221g white slip but...

Hi all,

So my mom is 81 and going through ir5 category. At the end of the interview, she was told that further administrative processing would be necessary. She was only handed back a white 221g form but no for the documentations were required. That's what she categorically told us and then we just have to wait. That was on January 22nd.

Fast forward to today, we received an email that said this

"Your passport/document has been collected from the U.S. Embassy/Consulate and is ready to be returned to you via the delivery option you selected when you applied for a visa through our system. Please visit https://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/en/collection-locations/ for document collection information and refer to the appointment confirmation/interview waiver confirmation letter, as applicable, for the document delivery option selected."

Problem is they did not collect any passport or documents at the end of that interview before denying her. So, can anybody tell me what they are talking about? What am I collecting at the the drop off location if we did not leave anything behind? Is this an automatically generated email or is this something that needs to be taken care of in person?
