Trans Global Entry with Updated Passport
Hello. I am US trans-fem. I luckily got my gender marker updated just before Jan 20th. I also had signed up for global entry. I am conditionally approved, but only was able to get an interview for this upcoming weekend.
The executive order from Jan 20 states "...implement changes to require that government-issued identification documents, including passports, visas, and Global Entry cards, accurately reflect the holder’s sex, as defined under section 2 of this order".
My passport, drivers license, and birth certificate list Female. However, I have not legally changed my name. I am not really out, so I still look and present masculine.
I decided to apply for global entry because I wanted to cut down on my chances with interacting with border agents.
If I got a global entry card, would it come listed as Male? Would this cause any problems at the boarder? Is there a risk of getting my passport confiscated at the interview? Would it be better to just not get Global Entry?
Thanks
