Can I skip season 3?

I saw the death of Sara (to be fair I expected it) and that this was an issue with he contract/pregnancy but that she was coming back in S4. Honestly I find this shit and kinda want to skip to the next season. What do people think, is S3 still decent ? I've been less a fan of the show after S1 and I am hoping S4 will get better but I am happy to hear about what people think :)
