Will yards take nitrous canisters without nozzle removed ? And if so are the brass pieces the nozzle?

Somebody offered to pay me to get rid 300 nitrous canisters. I said I’d do it for 400$. Is that too little?And my local yard said they’d take them but only if nozzle is removed, is the nozzle the brass piece or plastic piece ?
