Constant "sinus" pressure and lightheadedness is ruining my life
Hi guys,
I am absolutely desperate for answers and wondering if any of you could help.
For the past five years, I have been suffering from pressure between my eyebrows and above my nose (diagram below) near my sinuses. I have seen many ENTs, neurologists, and ophthalmologists who cannot seem to find anything wrong. I have gotten multiple MRIs of my brain and all have come back negative, though, admittedly, I do need an updated workup (however I had these symptoms before and no imaging came back as positive then).
To keep it short:
Symptoms:
- Relentless pressure (not exactly pain) on the inner half of my eyebrows, directly above my nose, and halfway up my forehead
- Lightheadedness / slight dizziness upon standing
- Sometimes my legs and arms will feel "weak" or disconnected from my body when this pressure is present
- Sometimes I will experience severe anxiety, disorientation, and derealization from these symptoms
Physical attributes:
- Female
- Normal weight
- Had a septoplasty/rhinoplasty and still have enlarged turbinates that I need to have fixed
Motrin / Tylenol does not seem to help, but I notice that I do not wake up immediately with these headaches - they usually progress as the days go on.
Has anyone had similar issues from enlarged turbinates? Also thinking it could be IIH?
I appreciate absolutely any guidance or assistance you could give. I have not been able to live a normal existence now for the better part of a decade and it is truly ruining my life.
Have a good one :)
