Dhaqan celis can be a positive experience if we tried a bit harder. Most people just hate it for a few years/months, go back to where they’re from and in most cases never want to return unfortunately.

I’m not sure why (SOME) Somali parents who left their homeland and went to a white man’s country to raise their young first off don’t bother teaching their children Somali. And then dump them in Somalia where they barely are in touch with the culture and language. They ignore their calls to come back for years and then are surprised when they don’t want to ever return back to 🇸🇴.

It’s super unfortunate because there’s a lot Somalia has to offer in case you want to move/visit, especially for the people who are supposed to be claiming PHD’s to go home and help Somalia prosper.
