Tips for assault vs range enemy?

The pewpew gun tyranid elite, I don’t know how to deal with it using assault. They can delete you sometimes if you jump pack ground pound it while it shooting, and once they separate on the battlefield, it’s extreme hard to deal with using only pistols. And the zoanthrope ofc, is a pain in the ass too.

Any tips?
