Dextromethorphan is working for me

I have been taking 60mg a day for about 2 weeks now and it has made a huge impact on my ability to speak.

*Obvious disclaimer, don’t listen to me and speak with a doctor. Dxm is a very powerful drug when taken in high doses and has potential for abuse. Also don’t take anything with Acetaminophen in it unless you hate your liver.

With that being said,I’ve had SD for a little over a year and have spoken with several doctors including I guess the head of Vanderbilt’s voice center and was told there was nothing I could do except get on the Botox subscription plan. Obviously there’s no money to be made from an easily available otc cough medication.
