Acne after Accutane

I was on 80mg of accutane daily from July 2023-January 2024. A few months ago my back started breaking out really bad again. I went to see the dermatologist a week or two ago, and he prescribed me Tretinoin cream every night and Spironolactone 100mg twice daily. He told me my acne is hormonal and these pills will get to the root of the problem and lower my testosterone levels. I used to use both a long time ago, but I don’t remember if either of them helped or not. For those of you who have had acne come back after Accutane or just had bad acne (especially back) breakouts in general have you used this cream and medication combination? Whats your routine and how long did it take for it to work? I’m trying to get encouraged. Thanks
