Marrok?
So I'm surprised that haven't seen anyone make a connection between the two. I have several points that might connect the two.
My First point:
In Tales of The Jedi, we hear The Inquisitor speak and it's a pretty distinct voice.
In Ahsoka, we hear Marrok in the space battle in episode 4 him say, "As you wish".
Yeah it's not an exact voice match, but about 20 years have past and they're wearing different masks. So plenty of reasons to conclude why the voice is slightly different. Also plenty of animated characters have been voiced from different people from their live action counterparts.
My second point:
Their lightsabers are of similar designs. Double blades with a circular handguard. Not exact, but if he never retrieved his lightsaber from his first dual with Ahsoka (and if I remember correctly Ahsoka healed his crystals white and made her current lightsabers) he would have had to make a entirely newW saber. And most characters who lose their lightsabers always go for a new design. l.e. Ahsoka, Anakin, Luke, etc.
My third point: In Tales of the Jedi, Ahsoka "kills" The Inquisitor and he turns into a black mist. have seen theories that he mnay have been a mist alien. Which isn't all too surprising since the SW universe has sentient rocks lol. So some had thought that she may had not have actually killed him. In Ahsoka episode 4 we see Ahsoka "kills" Marrok and a black mist came from him after. These two deaths are very similar. If the theories about The Inquisitor being a mist Alien and had not actually died, then maybe he just needed a new suit to regain his humanoid form. Whenever his armor is punctured, he returns to his mist form. I've seen theories that he was resurrected using Nightsister magic like Savage Oppress and that he dies like him with green smoke leaving his body, but just don't see it. don't know if it's my video quality, but don't see any green. Also, when Savage died it was more like a green energy leaving him slowly. Marrok was way too quick. Much like The Inquisitor.
Sidenote: (Not related to my connections) Marrok did kinda die like a gas escaping a balloon You guys see him flail too?
Edit: just slowed down his death on YouTube to 0.25 speed and rewatched that seen. You can visibly see him deflate. Savage only shrank to his original form. This has GOT to be the same guy!
