Their response to Mallory made everything worse

I used to be a casual watcher and only lurk on this subreddit bc of their fans, but their response to Mallory has pushed me over the edge and I am so done with them.

Nick implying that if their fans went over to “yell and berate” Mallory then it’s fair game bc it’s a “two way street” as if sending millions of your diehard fans to harass a 19 year old girl is in any way comparable to her making one criticism of them. Even if her concerns weren’t valid to them, even if, the video painted Matt in a bad way and they know that he’s not violent like that irl… in what world is publicly exposing a young girl in front of your fans a reasonable response???

Especially when the concern is that one of you could be a violent person, did Nick really think aggressively screaming in his car would clear those allegations up? Does he think that’s entertaining to watch? Because it’s not, it’s just as awkward as watching Matt have a tantrum and the whole room going quiet… I don’t personally believe Matt is abusive or violent (Although there’s no way of knowing strangers true selves) but it is incredibly awkward to watch whenever they’re arguing or fighting. Acting proud of this repeated behaviour shows how they lack self awareness. Shame on them for acting so immaturely about this entire situation and especially how they treated Mallory. Sending lots of light and love to her.
