do machines lag the game real bad?

i'm only in summer of year one but the lags gotten so bad i can barely stand to play anymore, im assuming it's either because of the machines i have around my house of the nature roofing i had just installed since i didn't notice it until right after

is this why everyone seems to have a billion sheds on their farms? i like having my machines and chests arranged next to the house for ease of access :(

im on pc and already turned all the performance options on and it hasn't helped any
