How can I be a great SEN teaching assistant??
I'm starting a new job as a SEN TA next week and I'm quite nervous. I don't have much experience in this kind of role as I only did my Interships as a SEN TA for just 3 months and it wasn't even in the UK (I'm starting work in the UK). I have lot of motivation to start and I know that I'm a very nice person, my active listening and emphathy is very good and I always try to be positive and calm but I don't know if that's enough. I just want to be a great SEN TA and I wish that the school is happy to have me around as an employee so I was wondering if you could give me some tips or advices about anything you want related to this kind of role.
Thank you in advance ☺️
