Is this just notable because it bucks the trend or is this now a trend?

I don't know the details, but certainly I agree that clear boundaries and behaviour expectations are needed.

The things that stood out to me as interesting ideas:

  1. Having parents attend class with students as a punishment for misbehaving.

  2. Requiring a referral from a teacher for students to access wellness services (so that a visit to counselling isn't just used as an excuse to cut class).
