I have a question about "faith alone."

Does a Christian have to believe in being saved / sanctified by "faith alone" in order to be a Christian?

In other words, if someone doesn't believe that people are saved and sanctified by "faith alone," are they still a Christian? Are they a heretic? Something else?

Please let me know what your denomination believes.
