is there a Byron Bay serial killer?

I know this is a little crazy, but after doing a deep dive on TikTok, news media etc, I honestly believe the theory that there is a serial killer in Byron Bay killing tourists and backpackers.

Lloyd W.: In 2017, a British backpacker named Lloyd went missing after last being seen in the Byron Bay area. His disappearance raised concerns about the safety of travelers in the region.

  • Jade H.: In 2018, Jade, a young Australian woman, was reported missing after last being seen in Byron Bay. Her case drew significant media attention and community support for search efforts.

2019 - Theo Hayez a Belgian backpacker vanished after leaving a bar. A coronial inquest in 2022 ruled that the Belgian backpacker died shortly after leaving the Cheeky Monkey bar, but the coroner couldn’t rule if the death had been accidental or the result of foul play.

2019/2020 - Thea Liddle, a homeless woman went missing and around December 2020 her skeletal remains were found at a beach.

2021 - When Jackson Stacker was found dead in Byron Bay, police said it was likely he had taken his own life - but his grieving family believe something far more sinister happened. That's because the young man's skull was discovered metres from his body, with a large hunting knife embedded in his chest.
