I-130 Since 10/23/2023

Hey guys! I filed for my husband (he’s mexican) and have yet to receive a case decision. We are in Chicago and based on all the ICE raids I wanted to ask a few things if anyone would have an idea. 1. does it normally take this long? 2. If he gets detained by ICE is my first call to our immigration lawyer. More like ok he’s detained what are my steps. I’m trying not to panic too much but they inch closer and closer to home. We are trying to do everything by the book and be patient but it’s hard. Thanks :)
