I have maternal instincts as a man

I can’t explain it. I just have these feelings of compassion towards everything. Helpless or not, all babies, animals or things that remind me of either trigger this sense to protect and care for them. I’ve been called many things for expressing this, but I feel I shouldn’t suppress it. Do any other guys feel this way?
