What can I do to make my lenses 'better'?

New hobbyist, pleased with the progress I am making. I wanted to hear what people do for their lenses, doesnt have to be space marines exclusively. I currently do a bold titanium white base then stain /w blood angels contrast. I will do a coat of 'ardcoat if I can get some the damn stuff.
