My friend suggested ACOTAR as a spicy book and it’s … not?

I’m almost finished with the first ACOTAR book, the beginning and the setting up of characters was so slow 😩 Then after she met Tamlin, I liked the cute scenes and when Feyre was dancing for Tamlin while he was playing the fiddle was cute, sure - BUT LIKE WHERE IS THE SPICE? I do like it but it’s not a spicy book? I would have given ACOTAR a chance anyway and I’m fine without the huge spice, I like reading lots of different genres (the book has been on my bookshelf for almost a year 😅). Unless the last 100 pages is just spicy scene after spicy scene, please don’t recommend this book as a spicy one. 😅 And to my friend who will probably read this because she’s on the Reddit - SHAME ON YOU 🙏🏻
