Sidewalk etiquette

I never thought I (24m) would make a post regarding such a mundane topic but here we go. Everyone knows the “walk on the right side” rule as well as the bf-outside gf-inside rule of thumb. My question is; when walking by myself on a 2-person sidewalk, is it my job to move out of the way/adjust for 2+ people walking in the opposite direction or should they move over (single-file-like) for the single walker (me). I strongly believe they (2+ people) should move over somehow. however, I’ve noticed people in Toronto don’t seem to share my belief. It isn’t a big deal either way, but I am looking for some validation on my thoughts or conflicting opinions, thanks. - a guy who may shoulder check some people on a bad day (if I’m valid in my thinking).
