(spoilers main) Can we talk about the sexualization of minors in asoiaf?

I am tired of people acting like it´s all about historical accuracy. Historical accuracy doesn´t force George to write graphic sex scenes with a 13 yo, have that scene in ASOS where Dany is naked and covered with a sheet while talking to Jorah, multiple comments on her breasts and masturbation.

Teens are sexual beings, there´s no question about that. However, I doubt a teen girl would write about her own sexual awakening the way George describes it. Women generally don´t think about their breasts, they don´t talk to grown men while naked. The whole thing is honestly a fetish and I am tired of pretending it´s not.

The other day, I mentioned that the sexualization of minors in asoiaf is weird and that George seems to glorify obvious ephebophiles like Daemon Targaryen. The replies were hostile to say the least. However, is it entirely unfair to speculate that George might have a teen fetish? Or did he bring it upon himself?

Fan: If you could have dinner with 3 of your characters from the series, which characters would you choose and why?

George: Certainly Tyrion, because he would be witty and charming. I think he'd be a really good choice to start with. Maybe Maester Aemon, because he's wise and knows all these things about history. The third one, I don't know. I could say Arya, but she might misbehave and hit me with some food. Maybe Dany, because, you know, she's really hot. Especially if she wore that Qartheen gown.

If, for example, it were simply about sightseeing, seeing landscapes and seeing places, I’d take Tyrion Lannister with me probably. I think his acid comments would go very well at certain times. He is a character who likes to get to the point and he would surely have many interesting things to comment on. If it were a more romantic getaway, I would take Daenerys Targaryen because, in addition to being very funny, she is a very beautiful woman.
