Fans running onto the field: do any of them actually think they're going to get away with it?

Whenever I hear about a fan going onto the field during a game, I always wonder if any of them really think they'll be allowed to just run around and do their thing and then go back to their seat and watch the rest of the game like nothing happened, with no repercussions of any kind.
