Integral or antiderivative???

I've been putting this off but, whenever were about to take the integral of a function, my teacher usually says "ok lets take the anti derivative", from a previously lesson i seen that integrals are not always the inverse of derivatives however, in the case for anti derivatives its always the case. Does that mean its better to say were going to take the anti derivative of a function rather than actually saying were going to be taking the integral of a function?
