Is there any possible way to be able to recreationally use weed while also pursuing a fulfilling and successful career?

I show up to work early, I do my job above and beyond my expectations. And when I get home I like to pop a couple edibles to wind down for the night. This lifestyle seemed viable growing up, but as I’m looking for more career based jobs, I find all of them require random drug screenings and will immediately fire for any Marijuana related offense. So what the hell? Do I seriously just have to drink alcohol for the rest of my life to be any sort of financially stable/ successful? Really? That’s the hill America is dying on?
