I killed lothric twins without summoning npc

Like i was damn surprised how easier the fight got as I would summon both orbeck and sirris and then realised it made there hp bigger then I ran out of embers and thought let's just give it a try and go outside, then it got cleared in one try and i was like , damn how did this happen
