Can someone explain how big Dean Blunt is on TikTok to someone who doesn’t use?

Stopped using about 2 years ago. Not on social media much besides Reddit and YouTube shorts if that counts.

Been a moderate Dena Blunt fan for the last 3/4 years. Even when I discovered him he already had a pretty sizable cult following with like 400-600k monthly listeners to my knowledge. I only started using this Reddit a week ago and keep seeing posts about “TikTok Dean Blunt fans”.

Can someone describe I guess how big he is on TikTok or like what the current TikTok fan is like? Do they like his new stuff or old stuff or do they just like specific big songs like 100?

I’m not hating or a cynic. I’m guessing it’s like an aphex twin thing? I know hella ppl with selected works profile pictures or hoodies and only know a few songs but interact with plenty of afx videos online. I think it’s cool people getting into more music but I’m just genuinely curious.
