One Thing That Kept You In

Probably isn't the right flair for this, but here goes anyways. I recently had the opportunity to speak with an ex-Mormon on a show I host. She was raised in the church. I'm sure there's many different reasons for why one becomes a Mormon. And then there came a time when you decided to separate yourself from the church, and left.

I'm curious, for those who don't mind sharing. As you were going through your own internal conflicts, questioning what you've been taught and told to believe as truth. What was one thing that kept you from acting on those convictions? Something that you struggled with before finally making the decision to leave? To not only check out mentally, but physically as well?

Peace, freedom, and healing to each and every one of you.
