I don't think I like rap music

I've tried really hard to like rap, but I don't really like it.

I feel bad, because I should like it, but I just don't. The only rapper I really like is Tyler the Creator (I own his CDs and listen to him a lot).

I can obviously appreciate the artistry that goes into rap, and it's a very important and cool form of art, but I just don't enjoy it. I much prefer rock and metal.

I don't know if this can be fixed. I've been around rap my whole life, but it's just never clicked. I guess I'm just not someone who loves production so as much as i do instrumentation. I enjoy listening to the way stuff is produced, but a cool riff will always outweigh the way it's produced for me.

Is this bad? Is there something wrong with me?
