Valentino Uomo longevity is amazing, bleu de Chanel not so much

I am just entering the fragrance world and only have 2 colognes: Valentino Uomo born in Roma intense (edp) and Bleu de Chanel (edp). The longevity of the Valentino is insane, one spray on my chest lasts well over 12 hours on me. Meanwhile, bleu de Chanel lasts maybe 3 hours tops. Is there a reason why there’s such a huge difference in longevity between these two? Should I just start buying Valentinos from now on?
